BACK TO SCHOOL

Two whole months of fun and merry making with the cavemen instinct would soon melt away with the clarion calls trumpeting out to beckon you from those favorite late wake ups, those heavenly time you spend where you are not tied up to a specific routine, your limitless freedom to wander everywhere feeling as light as a feather.

The most preferable summer vacation, to chill out with friends and relatives is getting ready to bid farewell. And the most difficult part is getting back to the normalcy where you have to obey the dictates of time, and getting adjusted with the school routine. That means rescheduling brain and a lot of activities and an aversion to books is quite natural.

Some of you are tensed, some others excited to see their friends back and yet some others are a tad bit nervous which is healthier at the reopening. I could even feel some of your puzzled queries especially if you are a first timer.  Anxieties would hang around you for a short while.
But at the end of the day, it is you who matters most to the teachers, parents, and the society at large. Our schools have fast migrated on to the status of Hi-tech which means a great up gradation in terms of physical environment and learning facilities. The Government has earmarked a huge amount to save the General Education System. Therefore you would be entering into new world where you have opportunities aplenty to develop beyond yourselves. I would say ‘seize the day’. You would be assured highly efficient teaching and a learner friendly school campus. But at the same time, you should keep in mind that most of these efforts could go in vain if you haven’t taken things seriously.
We would learn together no matter where you come from, or which religion you profess or whether you are good in everything or whether you fail in certain things. It’s like a family where each of us would support at difficult times and cooperate. We would make this world a better place to live.
All of you are blessed with qualities that you might have failed to identify. And it’s here that we start the process to find out what you are good at. There lies the real importance of real education. Finding out your true self. And I would insist each of my dear learners to stay focused and to become real contributors to the society in which we take sustenance from. If you look around, you could see tens and thousands of professionals. But we feel something is lacking in. Yes. You guessed it right. A tint of humanity, love, care ,affection and a little thoughtfulness. You might have heard your elders ‘words often accompanied with a sigh that, ‘Life is a tough journey, and people turn selfish and it is quite hard to go ahead etc. It’s high time that we should make our presence felt. By the time you become the leaders of the world, let the people refrain “Life is too beautiful a journey“. Hope you have comprehended what I meant. In you, there is a huge responsibility vested upon.
Be a learner, a self motivated student and set your own priorities. No motivation or inspirational stuff would ever going to make you goal oriented until you are willing to incorporate them into your life. And your life is extremely different from that of others. Your problems may differ. In the school, your responsibility may get reduced to doing assignments, home works, obeying teachers and elders, helping the challenged and most importantly helping to create a better learning atmosphere. As you grow older, your responsibilities would flare up without you ever noticing it. Anyways, love your school, teachers and co learners.
School is a school after all and it’s a replica of the society we live in. For the smooth functioning of it, you would have to obey some rules which would help you in the long run. A neat and clean uniform, neatly trimmed hair, punctual attendance, disciplined classrooms and clutterfree corridors, well maintained books, and humble language, some gestures of respect are what you really get groomed for in the your school.
Every small things you do matters. Therefore make it a habit to do at least a single act that could make others happy. It is no huge deal. I am sure you could. It is heavenly to watch some one sitting next to you being lightened up with a beautiful smile just because of you. Because mere books could make no wonders until it is cupped up in your tender hands. Nobody writes your destiny. It is framed and forged only by you. An eventful year is ahead waiting for you. I extend my wholehearted support for all those stumbles you may come across and I extend my heartfelt wishes for all the challenges and adventures you may embark upon.

Happy School Days !
